Object Description
Tiffany & Co. star ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set centrally with an oval cabochon natural no heat Burmese star ruby in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.47 carats, further set with two hexagonal step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats, further enhanced by six round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.92 carats, to a fancy three stone design feauturing curving claws, a finely pierced gallery and geometric open backholing, flanked by trumpeting split shoulders flowing through to a ridged tapering D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold, signed ‘TIFFANY & CO.’, French, retailed in Tiffany New York, circa 1995, accompanied by Carat Gem Lab report #CGL11698, box and IAJA Expertise report #XP2170-210125.
