Directors Notes
A jeweller’s jeweller, the Georges Lenfant workshop made jewellery for many of the top Parisian houses of the Place Vendome and rue de la Paix. The list is extensive and impressive, from Cartier to Van Cleef & Arpels, and as this bracelet is testament to, American retailers such as Tiffany & Co. also looked to the Lenfant workshop to create fine jewels for them. The Lenfant workshop could be described as the unsung heroes of 20th Century jewellery.
