Original antique poster – Reverie du Soir / Evening Reverie (or Evening Contemplation) – by the notable Czech illustrator, graphic artist and painter Alphonse Mucha (Alfons Maria Mucha; 1860-1939) from his series of panels entitled The Times of the Day featuring a stunning Art Nouveau style design depicting an elegant lady with swirling hair, wearing a light flowing dress and sitting by a tree with her head resting on one hand as she looks dreamily into the distance surrounded by plants and flowers viewed through an ornamental Gothic style window frame in bold gold lines decorated with leaves and a floral design with the stylised title text below. Good condition, restored tears and minor paper loss, staining, shiny gold elements, backed on linen.
