An amazing early 20th century Persian Kirman with the most elaborately woven multicolored design of scrolling vines with myriad flowers on a cream background. The medallion is the best we’ve seen! Like a kaleidoscope, the pattern radiates from the center similar in appearance to a rose window of stained glass. The border is wide, woven with similar multicolored flowers and scrolling vines. This antique wool rug is in excellent condition for its age and is suitable for use in any modern or traditional home interior.
