Object History

Handwoven, with the finest hand-spun wool, in Persia Heriz which is located in East Azerbaijan in the north-west of Iran, northeast of Tabriz known for their medallion tribal design woven with intense colours and design. The colours come from natural dyeing techniques which have been used for generations. Hand-knotted densely, making them hardwearing and so suitable for any high traffic interior, this piece is sure to last for decades if cared for correctly.

Object Condition

This piece shows some signs of wear and tear but colours that look as though they were dyed yesterday. Ready for use in any home.
