Object Description
Circa 1920s. A quality two door walnut wardrobe by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’. Moulded cornice with concave and beaded sections in the frieze, a pair of panel doors each with book matched walnut on a raised panel. The inside of the wardrobe is polished and un-interrupted, with brass hanging rails and hooks. Beneath the two doors is a further mouldings, there is two short drawers with one full-length drawer beneath, each of the drawers has a raised panel in book matched walnut, stylish cast swan neck handles with pierced flower head backplates, and a raised arch above the escutcheon, with further mouldings, all resting four squat bun feet.
