Un bouquet de fleurs, oil on board, by Anna Costa (1922-2022) France, purchased from her Atelier (stamped to the reverse) In addition to her many framed.landscapes, Costa painted many still lifes, mostly bouquets of flowers as subject. In this charming painting, the artist uses a virtual monochrome backdrop to accentuate the redness of her flowers and make a feature of the more subtle pink ones as well.
