Object Description
Very unusual late Regency rosewood veneered centre table of octagonal form. This table has a narrow cross banded freize with the most unusual design base. Large turned and carved central column with 4 small thin turned and carved supports to the corners with platform base and original turned and carved bun feet with inset castors. The table is of very good quality, even the inside part of the freize is veneered in rosewood. The top is a lovely colour having mellowed beautifully over the years.
The table is basically in good condition but does require some veneer restorations.
