Object Description
Circa 1870. Unusual and stylish Victorian upholstered sofa, the tall curved back with the uprights extending proudly, the back, seat and arms upholstered in carpet fabric with a Celtic motif on the seat and geometric pattern on the back, between the upholstered sections there is velvet fabric, the front of the arms with cord and tassels, beneath there is a stylish fringe on all sides, back legs are square and slightly out swept, front legs are turned and ring turned finishing with a brass collar and porcelain castors.
