Object Description

Venetian Italian Interest Automation Walnut Signed Odo Striking Wall Clock.
The clock is signed on the dial with the name Odo.
The “ODO” clock company was founded in France in 1920 by brothers André and Roger Odobez in Morbier, a town famous for its clockmaking history. ODO became known for its decorative wooden wall and mantel clocks.
With its original instruction Manuel still present, see image.
The case with fine fruit carved ornaments, walnut, satin wood and simulating rosewood.
Every 30 minutes the clock is striking on a gong, the same time the men on the top is hitting the bell.
The original glass has hand painted gold ornaments in the corners and the famous St Marco Place in Venice.
The whole clock is in very good original used condition, the movement has been serviced and is in working order, with its original green paintwork inside.
