Object Description
This very fine art nouveau buckle was made in Chester in 1902 by AJS and measures 3 1/8 inches in length by 2 3/8 inches wide and has a beautiful lady turned sideways with her long waved hair having a flower and ears of corn running through it and she is looking towards the opposite side of the buckle where there are irises, foliage and a dragonfly, it is fully and clearly hallmarked on the bottom edge and has a black elastic belt attached with a clip on the end that fixes into the back of the buckle so it can be worn, a very pretty belt and buckle.
