Object Description
Good scale antique breakfront bookcase from English country house drawing room or library. This one was actually found in a large town house in Versailles. It is made of really fine Cuban mahogany with interesting grain patterns. it has adjustable shelves and lots of lovely cupboard space. It is also not too deep front to back so will not intrude far into the room. Please excuse the colour as it is in the photographs. It has not been restored yet – once the varnish is carefully lifted away, the deep patination will be revealed.
