This stunning chandelier from the Belle Époque era is a masterpiece crafted by the iconic Baccarat firm, celebrated worldwide for its exceptional crystal creations.
The chandelier’s design centres around an elegantly shaped ormolu stem encased in shimmering glass. Extending from the top are gracefully scrolled ormolu arms, each crowned with a delicate crystal flower. Connecting these floral elements are strands of fine crystal beads, a motif mirrored more prominently in the chandelier’s lower sections. Suspended from the upper arms are glass drops of varying sizes, enhancing the visual allure.
The central portion of the chandelier features convex scrolled arms, beautifully adorned with strings of crystal beads that highlight the ornate stem. Below, the most elaborate part of the design is lavishly decorated with intricate crystal embellishments. Each scrolled ormolu arm supports a bobeche and candleholder, designed with candle-like light fixtures.
