Object Description
Circa 1890. Very large Chinese carved Hongmu and marble plantstand. The circular top with beaded edges with hawthorn and bamboo leaf carvings surrounding the central pink variegated marble inset. The deep frieze with open carved hawthorn and other flowers over a circular undershelf with neat, matching frieze. All supported on foliate carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet.
