Object Description
This engraved Charles II silver and agate press sided box was made C1680 by DS (only the crown is visible and partial maker) It measures 2 inches in length by 1 3/8 inches wide and is 0.75 inches deep, it has agate “buttons” to the lid and sides (1 has an old crack but stable) it has scrolled leaf engraving to the lid and base with diamond shapes around the edges. It is marked inside to the base and the press opening works well a nice early box in good condition.
