A very rare and unusual carved oak banner rail
with the subject of the bust of a crownedLady, wearing a fur ( ermine?) stole.
Wonderfull carving and detailed.Anglo / Dutch, end of the 17th. century.
Still with the original old patination.
Because of the subject and clothes, this could be Queen Mary.
