Object Description
This very rare Elizabeth I silver Maidenhead childs spoon was made in London C1600 by Thomas Francknall and measures 6.75 inches in length and is marked in the bowl with the leopards head and to the back of the stem with the makers mark and the date letter and lion passant which were lightly struck, the maidenhead to the top of the stem is well formed and still has detailing and the bowl is of good gauge and well formed with no obvious signs of wear, a nice rare spoon in very good condition.
