Object Description
This rare Provincial George II silver bleeding bowl was made in Exeter in 1736 by Samuel Willmott and measures 6 3/16 inches from the handle across by 4 inches wide in dia and is 1.5 inches deep, it has a lovely cast and open pierced handle bearing the initials R over RDE engraved to the front whilst there is a lion passant to the underside, it is fully hallmarked to the rim and is in very good condition weighing 3 ounces or 93 grams.
