Object Description
This very rare Provincial Queen Anne spatula top spoon was made C1702 by Philip Jerman of Exeter and measures 7 13/16 inches in length, it bears the engraved initials of IT over HP Jan 7 1702 to the back of the stem where it is also marked with the combined town and makers mark struck thrice, it has a beaded rat tail to the back of the bowl with the bowl having slight wear to one side otherwise a very rare spoon in very good condition weighing 1.60 ounces or 48 grams.
