Object Description

The wonderfully redolent vintage artists smock jacket in charcoal oil skin linen, with three deep pockets with brush pocket to four buttons, the whole showing plenty of historic paint and once worn extensively by the late artist Victor Hilton.

Object Literature

Victor Hilton taught Stella McCartney amongst other alumni and was known for his use of colour, depicting largely portiature in a bright palette.

Quite literally, a wearable artwork.

Object Condition

The overcoat is in as original order as you’d want to find it with no replacement buttons. It is accompanied by an original paintbrush.
