Object Description
Circa 1860. A mid Victorian walnut collectors cabinet. The sarcophagus shaped top surmounted by a metal lion, the corners with a carved flower-head, the front with a pair of paneled doors, with burr walnut panels, open to reveal the inside fitted out with four graduating drawers, each lined in felt. With turned pilasters on all sides, with two panels at the back, resting on a moulded base which follows the form of the pilasters and finishing on four squat circular feet.
