The sloped writing surface lifts to reveal a storage compartment, while one side features a bank of four drawers with turned wooden knobs, the opposing side with matching dummy drawers for symmetry. The front is adorned with slender turned supports and a panelled side with decorative brass grille and pleated fabric backing. Raised on turned bun feet with concealed castors for mobility, this piece combines practical design with refined craftsmanship.
