Object Description
Circa 1900, Victorian gilt mirror. With a central rectangular, bevel-edge mirror surrounded by beaded and fluted gilded decorations. The four sloped mirrors are surrounded by an elaborate lotus flower decorated gilt frame with relief foliate decorations at the corners and centrally surmounted by a gilt figurehead set in a neoclassical foliate background, and at the base by a similarly mounted lion’s head. The mirrors and gilding are in excellent condition. There are various date stamps inside the mirror, from 1900 onwards.
