Object Description
This oak antique dining table is a serious work of engineering. It extends to fifteen feet in length with no legs to support it in the middle. This means two things, firstly that it is extremely heavy and secondly that there is lots of room for human legs. This table came to us with the original winding mechanism and handle as well as two of the original leaves. We have reserves of lovely 19th century oak leaves to replace the missing ones. The timber is of exceptional quality with close graining and medullary rays everywhere.
