Object Description
Circa 1880, late Victorian mahogany dining table with 2 leaves. The D shaped ends, moulded fore-edge and a reeded frieze beneath it, standing on 8 exhibition quality, carved, fluted and tapering legs. These finish on brass cups and castors, and when the table is pulled out the extra leaves are locked in position by brass clips. The maximum width with the 2 leaves in is 230cm.
