For sale is a very good quality Victorian Marquetry Bon Heur De Jour. The top of the piece is intricately inlaid and has a brass gallery, above a central cupboard, flanked by ormolu mounts opening to reveal an interior fitted with several drawers Below this there is a single drawer. The desk stands on four elegantly shaped legs, each decorated with ormolu mounts and inlay. The whole piece is profusely inlaid with marquetry and is in very good condition for its age having been completely re-finished by hand.
