Object Description
Circa 1870, a neat size mid Victorian oak three-part pedestal desk, rectangular top with green leather insert, broad banding and simple moulded edge. To the front there is one long and two short drawers each with twin turned knob handles, they sit above a bank of three graduating oak drawers with similar handles, there’s beading that runs around the entire desk which is polished on all sides making it free standing, beneath the bottom drawer the desk stands on an enclosed moulded plinth with concealed casters beneath.
