Object Description
Circa 1860. A quality original mid-Victorian mahogany open bookcase. The raised shaped back (removable) the top in well figured mahogany with a moulded edge with protruding rounded corners, two solid mahogany adjustable shelves flanked by a pair of fluted columns with a turned section in the center. Beneath the bottom shelf there is a moulded section which follows the form of the top, all resting on an enclose mahogany plinth.
