This charming and delicate pate-sur-pate by J. H. Cope & Co. depicts a fête galante scene of a guitarist and singer amongst foliage on the black ground of the rectangular plaque. The plaque bears the monogram of J. H. Cope & Co., ‘JC,’ to the vignette.
