Object Description
Victorian pink topaz and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced pink topaz in an open back cut down setting with an approximate weight of 3.45 carats, encircled by a single row of sixteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in closed back cut down settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, to an ornate coronet cluster with scalloped edging, a polished gallery and open and closed backholing, flanked by ornate openwork shoulders with foliate and scrolling motifs terminating in ridged detailing and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and silver, English, circa 1840.
