Object Description
Victorian ruby and diamond two stone ring. Set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.10 carats, further set with a cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.10 carats, to two heart shape plaques with a starburst engraving, featuring polished edges and open backholing, the shoulders with a heavy plaited design, flowing to a solid shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1890.
