Vintage Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set with a round old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.92 carats, further set with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.08 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a finely pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by smoothly conforming shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-4143.
