Object Description
Vintage Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.72 carats, flanked by two trillion step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.30 carats, to an elegant tapered form with fluted claws, an intricately pierced geometric gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by split tapered shoulders and leading to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79210-44.
