Object Description
Vintage Diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, E colour, VVS2 clarity with a weight of 1.91 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.62 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.52 carats, to a geometric graduating flanked solitaire design featuring split corner claws, a decorative pierced structural gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5121014313.
