Set to centre with a marquise shape old cut diamond, F colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 2.39 carats in an open back claw setting, encircled by a single row of fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.79 carats, to an elegant marquise shape cluster, with a structured wirework gallery and intricate backholing, flanked by gently sloping inward tapered shoulders, flowing down to a solid lightly rounded shank. Marked 18 carat white gold with platinum settings, indistinct maker’s mark, French, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5222669948.
