Object Description
This vintage wool area rug was hand-woven in Turkey, Milas in 1970. The design has been woven in a pastel colour palette including subtle, green, blue and orange accents. It features a fantastic central medallion with tribal motifs woven throughout. This is then framed by a repeat pattern border woven with an elegant cream background.
Woven with fine, hand-spun wool which has been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques which have been used for generations. The pile is densely knotted with sophistication and makes this piece hardwearing and so perfect for any room in your home.
Easily style in both classic and modern home interiors, as a bedroom rug, living room rug, entranceway rug or dining room rug. This piece has signs of wear and tear but overall is clean and ready for use.
