19th Century French Pastel Portrait of a brown-eyed young woman in a blue dress with lace, pink details, set against a blue sky and wooded background. Signed and dated 1889 (possibly 1880), Signed Gie? Fagard – very likely Virginie Fagard, French 19th century artists known for her pastel portraits. This stunning piece was found in Provence. The frame is polychrome wood, custom made for the work. Please note that there are reflections in the glass; the pastel is in perfect condition. Better photos to come or please request.
