Object Description

Antique Georgian single fusee dial clock with slim turned mahogany surround with an ‘A plate’ 4 pillar movement with an anchor escapement.

This antique dial clock has a 12 inch painted enamel dial, Roman numerals, blue steel hands and an eight day movement.

It has a convex glass with cast brass, locking, bezel.

The detachable mahogany box, which encloses the movement is held in by pegs and has two inspection doors, one to the side and one to the bowed base.

The door in the base is cock beaded with a lock.

Inside the box the name ‘Low’ is written in black copperplate handwriting.

The clock has a brass pendulum and has 3 contemporary keys.

Condition:
The clock is in good working order.
