Object Description

Walton Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage group which features a couple in front of a bocage tree, holding a floral garland, stood on a shaped scroll work base. The piece is titled, ‘TENDERNESS’. Decorated ‘in the round’ – decoration to front and reverse. Maker’s marks Walton molded ribbon. Book reference ,’English Earthenware Figures 1740-1840′ by Pat Halfpenny, page 232.

Object Condition

Good. Any damage, wear, original manufacturing defects (kiln effects) or restoration that may be present, is minor and not detracting.
