Object Description

Wedgwood Fairyland lustre octagonal bowl. Dana – Castle on a Road pattern to exterior panels with Trentham Bead borders on black ground. Bird in a hoop pattern to interior with Flaming Wheel motif in the center. Wedgwood ‘Portland vase’ maker’s mark, ‘WEDGWOOD ENGLAND’ to underside.

Object Condition

Very good. No cracks, no hairlines, no chips, no flakes. Almost nil wear to the gilding to the interior and exterior. Two patches of gilt rubbing to the rim.
