Object Description

Wedgwood Majolica which features cherubs playing with a dolphin. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1871. Book reference not found.

Object Condition

Very good. No restoration. Scratches from use. Slight wear to the high points of the molding. KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to the reverse.
