Object Description
A Western Asiatic large bronze pin featuring a tapered shank, which slightly flattens toward the large openwork disc. The disc is enriched with seven concentric circles, each connected with different geometric motifs. Along the rim of the last band are small delicate circles, some now missing parts. A trumpet like shape sits at the top and is decorated with diagonal lines. The solid pin reaches up until the sixth circle in which two parallel lines protrude upwards across the rest of the disc. Along the top of the shaft on one side, seven additional circles have been added to further embellish the piece. Beautiful green patination is visible to the surface.
