Object Description
A Western Asiatic electrum pendant enriched with granulation. This piece was originally an earring but was altered in antiquity to take the form of a pendant. The hook has been modified to form a suspension loop at the top. The body displays a triangular shape, formed by five outsplayed rods, each ending with an applied flattened granule. A large granule featured at the centre with a sightly smaller one on either side. The piece is further enriched with rows of granules along the rods, flattened granules and above the central granule taking a triangular shape. The reverse is flat and unadorned.
