Object Description
A fine Western Asiatic gold pendant featuring a circular polished garnet bead. The small suspension hoop is attached to a square base, below which a gold leaf cone partially envelopes a garnet bead. The elements are pierced through the centre for suspension and terminate in a small gold nodule. Ridging has been used to decorate the suspension loop and it’s square base. A ridged band also concludes the gold leaf cone, further embellishing the pendant.
