Object Description
A Western Asiatic gold earring, shaped into a shell motif. The earring is modelled from a thin sheet of gold, forming a hollowed convex body, which tapers into a point to form a hook. The surface of the shell is decorated with horizontal parallel lines worked using the repoussé technique. One ridge runs along the edge, framing the parallel ridged decoration.
