An fine Western Asiatic stone pestle and mortar. The mortar features a slight cylindrical shape with a flared base leading to concave sides and an uneven, flaring rim. The vessel sits on a flat base with an unadorned interior and exterior. The pestle is of a club-shape which tapers towards the top with rounded ends. Scratches and chips likely due to age and wear.
