The classic tipsy drinking cup. A rare antique silver cup with a large hand engraved armorial to the front. The shield within tied plumage is very typical of this date and the hand beaten finish is very charming.

Maker “ID dagger between” – see Jackson’s Silver and Gold Marks page 143. Sterling silver.
This makes a pair with stock item #10518.
Marks. Stamped underneath with a full set of matching English silver hallmarks. The date letter is not fully stamped but can be made out clearly as “r” for 1694.
Arms. These are for the the Eden family of Ballingdon, Essex and Sudbury, Suffolk.
