Object Description
An early antique William III solid Silver Porringer with fitted lid. This substantial Porringer has two scroll handles beaded embellishments. The body of the porringer is decorated with a chased half fluted design and topped with an engraved stylised leaf pattern. The porringer stands on a spread foot. The fitted lid mirrors both the chased fluted pattern on the foot, the half fluted pattern on the body and the engraved leaf pattern. The body of the porringer has a large armorial engraved on the one side.
