Object Description

Circa 1835, William IV mahogany and inlaid, three door wardrobe. With a string inlay cornice and double banded apron. The 3 full length doors are divided by 2 panels, each with matching flame mahogany and a fielded panel framed by boxwood and ebony inlay. The left and centre doors open as a pair to reveal the four original trays inside. There is a bank of four graduating drawers, with their original knob handles. On the right, the single door has a rail and a small shelf. The entire wardrobe stands on a mahogany base with cut out bracket and double bracket feet. It can be broken down for movement.
