Object Description
Circa 1830, William IV mahogany 4 door breakfront, glazed secretaire bookcase. With stepped cornice with flamed mahogany facings, above 4 glazed doors with astragal glazing bars. The doors are flanked by pilasters either side with foliate carving at the top and opening to adjustable shelves. Beneath is a full length secretaire drawer opening to reveal various pigeon holes and a series of small mahogany drawers with the original knob handles. At the base are full relief columns finished in flame mahogany and doors with flame mahogany panels, standing on an enclosed plint
